The exhibition Ups and downs, highs and lows…and the forgotten is dedicated to the complexity and contradictions of political, economic and cultural relations between the USA and Yugoslavia / Serbia through historical case studies of artistic and cultural cooperation, exchange and influence. The focus of the exhibition are seven different disciplines or cultural fields examined through historical case studies in film, contemporary art, music, urbanism, theater, poetry and comics, along with the presentation of the first influences of American popular culture in Serbia.
